Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive procedure that shaves away the top layers of your skin. It can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or pitted skin and will also remove that super fine peach fuzz, leaving you with fresh, glowing skin!

Facial dermaplaning is a cosmetic procedure that involves gently scraping your face with a scalpel to remove the epidermis—your top layer of skin.

At Amora, we use high quality equipment and natural soothing product in a sterilized and sanitized environment. Your Skin Care Professional will use their utmost care to give you this beautiful exfoliating treatment sure to leave your skin feeling smooth, hydrated and refreshed!

Things to consider:

We recommend this treatment once a month.
It is extremely important to use sunscreen and avoid excess sunlight. The exfoliation exposes a new layer of skin that isn’t typically exposed to sunlight, so it can more easily cause U.V. damage.
Dermaplaning is not recommended for all skin types or for people with certain skin conditions such as acneic and rosacae prone skin.

Before and After Care:

Do not exfoliate 48 hours before and after.
Avoid sun exposure 48 hours before and after.
Be cautious of retinol and glycolic acids, do not use the days before or after.
Avoid sweating, pools and saunas 24 hrs after.
KEEP HYDRATED! Use soothing balms and drink plenty of water!
